Gelato & Co, created by AFA Arredamenti, is an interior design project dedicated to contemporary gelaterias with a strong Italian identity, now featured in several international locations including Florida, the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Colorado, Texas, Panama, and Cape Verde.
The spaces have been designed to convey a distinctive and elegant atmosphere through a balanced combination of materials, colours, and bespoke details. Wood furnishings with aged resin finishes add warmth and a handcrafted feel to the interiors, while the refined colour palette featuring cream, vintage aquamarine green, white, and gold accents creates a sophisticated and welcoming environment.
A defining feature of the concept is the shaped arch motif, repeated throughout many elements of the interior design: from the front panels of the gelato counter to the signage, menu boards, and wall panelling with large mirrors, creating visual continuity and harmony across the entire space.
The custom-made seating upholstered in aquamarine eco-leather enhances the customer area, combining comfort with a distinctive aesthetic appeal. The gelato counter integrates refrigerated display cases and gelato wells, topped with a surface made of natural marble aggregate and high-performance resin, a solution that combines functionality, durability, and refined aesthetics.
A project that reinterprets the tradition of Italian gelato through a contemporary, elegant, and internationally recognisable design language.
