Located on the first floor of the Rome Termini Station Food Hall, this new project by AFA Arredamenti was designed to create a welcoming and functional space, offering travelers and visitors a comfortable environment throughout the day. Bar and restaurant at Rome Termini, the venue welcomes guests from the early morning with a café and breakfast service before seamlessly transforming into a restaurant for lunch and dinner.
The bar counter, positioned along the external promenade of the food hall, is the focal point of the venue, remaining accessible throughout the day as the ideal place to enjoy a coffee break or an aperitif. Directly behind it, the open-view kitchen showcases the culinary experience, allowing guests to appreciate the chefs at work while enhancing the authenticity of the space.
The interiors are defined by an elegant sage green colour palette, extending across both walls and ceilings to create visual continuity and a distinctive identity. Natural materials and premium finishes shape the project: wood, stone and burnished brass combine with stone-top tables, wooden chairs, quilted green leather banquettes, plaster boiserie and antique mirrors, creating a refined yet contemporary atmosphere.
To subtly separate the different areas, partitions enriched with bougainvillea and greenery introduce natural elements that make the environment more intimate without interrupting the perception of the open space. The entrance is highlighted by a striking wooden portal featuring a suspended burnished brass logo, an iconic design element that immediately defines the venue's identity.
Completing the project is a custom-designed lighting system, featuring bespoke chandeliers and lampshades created exclusively for the space. The lighting enhances the materials, architectural details and furnishings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This project once again demonstrates AFA Arredamenti's expertise in bespoke commercial interiors, combining design excellence, functionality and outstanding craftsmanship.
