CORE Bistrot Rome
Restaurant & Bar at Via del Corso 340, Rome
A new destination for social gathering on Via del Corso. Set within a historic building in the heart of one of Rome's most iconic streets, this new venue offers a place to pause, relax, and connect. The project is defined by a contemporary eclectic style, where classical elements blend seamlessly with a modern, luxurious aesthetic. The overall atmosphere is warm, opulent, and theatrical.
The project is defined by a rich interplay of materials.
The herringbone parquet flooring and wood paneling create a warm, elegant, and welcoming environment.
The long split-stone counter, which dominates the entrance hall, acts as a solid, sculptural visual anchor at the center of the space.
The extensive use of gold and brass—featured in the chandeliers, finishes, and counter details—elevates the venue with a sense of luxury and opulence.
Lighting takes center stage. The three bespoke chandeliers, custom-designed by the Studio, are not merely light fixtures but true sculptural elements that define the upper volume of the interiors. Warm light becomes the project's recurring theme, reflected in the brass-finished mirrors that characterize the various rooms.
Walls in taupe tones, dark wood, and light stone provide a refined and understated backdrop, contrasted by metallic finishes and upholstered seating in shades of red and ochre, bringing energy and dynamism to the interiors.
The Chef's Table, the true heart of the venue, breaks down the barriers between chefs and guests, transforming dining into a performance.
Every element was custom-designed by architect Antobenedetto's studio and crafted by AFA Arredamenti.
