Gaudenzi Uomo – Riccione
A bespoke retail concept where materials, light and design embody contemporary elegance
For its new menswear boutique in Riccione, Gaudenzi once again entrusts AFA Arredamenti with the development of a bespoke interior concept. Designed by MCA Marco Costanzi Architects in Imola, the project explores the relationship between raw architectural surfaces, refined materials and precisely crafted furnishings.
Exposed concrete defines the architectural envelope, providing a powerful yet understated backdrop for the collections. At the centre of the space, a suspended sculptural volume in glossy polyester-finished mahogany veneer establishes the visual focus. Designed to be experienced from every angle, it combines a strong material presence with concealed LED lighting, allowing the products to emerge with exceptional clarity.
Around the perimeter, polished stainless-steel tubular rails are integrated into the walls and storefronts, their discreet lighting enhancing both the architecture and the merchandise. Emerging directly from the grey honed Travertine marble flooring, they become an integral part of the spatial composition.
Concrete shelves merge seamlessly with the walls, while architectural volumes clad in Guatemala and Calacatta marble define the accessories area. Illuminated glass display cases introduce a further layer of precision and transparency.
Throughout the boutique, polished stainless steel and mirrors complete the palette, creating a measured balance of material richness, refined simplicity and bespoke craftsmanship.
